Scorpio Family Horoscope 2014

Your 4th house is not powerful this year. It is basically empty and only short-term planets will move through there for brief periods. We do see moves happening in the year ahead. (They can happen next year too.) For the first half of the year, though, home and family life is pretty much stable.

On July 16 Jupiter moves into Leo and starts to make beautiful aspects to your family planet, Uranus. Thus moves could happen. But, as regular readers know, people don’t always literally move. Sometimes they buy additional homes; sometimes they renovate or expand the home; and sometimes they buy expensive items for the home and the effect is ‘as if’ they had moved – the home is happier and more expansive.

These moves or renovations seem related to the career. Jupiter will be in your career house. The company you work for can move you to a different area, or perhaps a job opening happens in another city or country.
This aspect also signals that the family circle expands. Generally this happens through birth or marriage, though sometimes it does so through meeting people who are like family to you.

For the first half of the year, family support seems weak. Family obligations seem expensive and you have nothing to show for them. You seem in financial disagreement with a parent or parent figure. But all of this will change after July 16. Then the family seems supportive. Perhaps you spend on the family, but they are giving mutual support too. You can earn though them or through family connections.

Your family planet Uranus has been in your 6th house of health and work since 2011. Thus you are buying all kinds of health gadgets and exercise or sports equipment for the home, making the home into a ‘health spa’ or gym as much as a home. Many of you are also setting up home offices, making the home more of a workplace too. This doesn’t happen overnight but is a long-term process that will continue over the next few years.

You and a parent or parent figure have been having problems for some years now – serious kinds of disagreements. This trend continues in the year ahead. You just have to work harder to make the relationship work. In the past few years there have been some separations from the family, but these seem temporary. Students might feel that the family (or a parent or parent figure) is interfering with their studies, making it more difficult to concentrate.

Parents or parent figures are not likely to move this year – nor should they. It is not advisable. Siblings or sibling figures have moved in recent years and can move again. They seem nomadic and restless. They are looking for the perfect home, and although they think they have found it, they see a newer and more perfect home yearly.

Children or children figures in your life have a stable family year. Moves are more likely next year than this year.
